  • Yes! We want everyone who calls our community home to feel comfortable and supported, which is why we offer ADA-accessible apartments at The Cannon. Reach out anytime, and our leasing team will share current openings and accessible features in each.

  • At this time, we don't offer furnished apartments, which leaves every room open to your own style and the pieces you love most.

Pricing & Fees

  • Your security deposit helps secure your new home at The Cannon and ranges from $200 to two full months' rent. Reach out to our team, and they'll gladly confirm what applies to the apartment you have in mind.

  • Utilities are billed separately from your rent. Please note that our $117 monthly amenity bundle brings several everyday services together in one simple charge, including internet, trash, the package room, pest control, and liability insurance.

  • Our homes come prewired for Xfinity, so staying connected is easy from the moment you move in.

  • Paying rent is simple, with three convenient options to choose from. Use our Resident Portal to take care of it online, or submit a cashier's check or money order, whichever works best for you.

  • Yes, our amenity bundle is $117 a month, and it covers the everyday services that keep life at our community running smoothly:

    • Internet: $65

    • Trash: $25

    • Package room: $5

    • Pest control: $5

    • Liability insurance: $17

    It's one easy charge that keeps these essentials taken care of, so you can focus on settling in.


Tours & Visits

  • Seeing The Cannon in person is easy, with a few flexible ways to plan your visit. Book a time online, give us a call, or simply stop by during office hours. If you'd rather look around on your own, a self-guided tour lets you pick a time that works for you. Whichever option fits your day, our team looks forward to welcoming you to the community.

Application & Leasing

  • Head to our Floor Plans page, use the filters to narrow down your options, and select the layout that interests you. From there, enter your move-in date and click "Apply." If it's your first time with us, you'll create an applicant account to continue through the rest of the process online, and our team is here if any questions come up along the way.

  • Yes, there's $50 for the application and $150 for administrative processing, both of which help us review your information with care and keep everything on track toward move-in day.

  • Before you begin, we kindly ask that you have these documents on hand:

    • Income documentation in PDF format

    • Bank statements

    • ID verification

  • Applicants need an income of 3 times the monthly rent to qualify.

  • We offer lease terms from 12 to 18 months, so you can choose the length that fits your plans as you settle into life at The Cannon.

  • We want everyone who lives here to feel comfortable and cared for, which is why subleasing isn't permitted in our community.

  • We recommend renters' insurance with contents coverage to help protect your belongings. Our team is glad to share a few suggestions, so feel free to connect with us anytime.

  • Simply let our team know you'd like to renew, and we'll send the new lease straight to your Resident Portal.

  • At this time, affordable housing options aren't available in our community. Our team would be happy to help you find the right fit, so get in touch to go over current openings.

Pets

  • Yes! As a pet-friendly community in Murfreesboro, we're happy to welcome up to two pets per home, so your companions can settle in right alongside you.

  • We want your companion's arrival to go smoothly, so here's what to plan for:

    • Pet deposit: $300 for one pet or $500 for two

    • Monthly pet rent: $25 per pet

  • We want every resident and pet to feel comfortable in our community, so please note that standard breed restrictions apply. If you'd like to know what applies to your pet, send us a message, and our team will gladly share more information.

  • Your best friend deserves a little fun at home, too! Our bark park gives them a dedicated space to play and burn off some energy, right here in the community.

Amenities & Facilities

  • Some of the best parts of your day happen right here in the community. Kick off your morning with a workout in our fitness center, soak up the sun by the sparkling lounge pool, or meet up with friends at the fire pit as the evening winds down.   • Each apartment includes its own washer and dryer, so you can take care of laundry on your own time, with no shared machines or extra trips required.

  • Yes! Bike storage is available on-site, making it easy to keep your ride close by and ready whenever you are.

  • Yes! Every apartment is prewired for high-speed Xfinity service, so you can be online and ready for work calls or your favorite shows soon after you settle in.

Parking

  • Yes! Parking is included at no additional fee, so keeping your car close to home is one less thing to think about.

  • Guests are always welcome at The Cannon, and there are no restrictions on overnight stays.

  • While we don't have EV charging stations on-site, you'll find several options nearby. Ask our team, and they'll gladly point you toward the best fit for your route.

Move-In & Move-Out Support

  • Here's what to plan for as move-in day gets closer:

    • Security deposit

    • Prorated rent

    • Pet fees, if applicable

  • Making your apartment feel like home is part of the fun, from the decor you choose to the style you bring to each room. Please note that any modifications require written consent from management, as outlined in your lease agreement. Have a project in mind? Check in with our team, and they'll gladly help you plan it the right way.

  • We understand that plans can change, and our team will gladly guide you through each step if you need to end your lease early. Please note that this process requires:

    • A 60-day written notice

    • A two-month termination fee

    • Repayment of any concessions received

  • To help your move-out go smoothly, here's what to expect:

    • All leaseholders provide a 60-day written notice

    • A damage inspection is scheduled one week before your move-out date

    • You can request a move-out inspection during business hours. Please note that your home must be empty at that time.

  • We'll send your security deposit refund by mail, and you can expect it within 30 to 45 days.

Maintenance & Requests

  • Taking care of your home is a priority for our team, which is why there are several easy ways to let us know when something needs attention. Call our office, send us a text, or submit a request through your Resident Portal, whichever is easiest for you.

  • Rest assured, our team works to address maintenance issues within 24 to 48 hours. Please note that if a repair needs parts, an unexpected shipping delay may occasionally extend that window.

Community & Lifestyle

  • Yes, quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM. For everyone's comfort, we kindly ask all residents to be mindful of their neighbors during that time.

  • Several schools are conveniently located near our community, including:

  • The Cannon sits along Memorial Boulevard on Murfreesboro's north side, with everyday errands and local favorites right around the corner. Publix, Kroger, and Walmart are all a short drive from home, so restocking the fridge fits easily into your week, and spots like Two J's Grille and Dutch Bros make grabbing dinner or a morning coffee simple

    Getting around is just as convenient. The Alvin C. York VA Medical Center is only moments up the road, downtown's historic square is about 15 minutes south, and Middle Tennessee State University is under 6 miles away.
